Concrete Performance
Davor Tocinovski was born on 12 June 1976 in Skopje. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts “Lazar Ličenoski” in Skopje (1994), graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje (2001) in the class of Prof. Rubens Korubin and received his Master's degree at the University of Arts in Belgrade (2010) with Prof. Vladan Radovanović.
Brief description of the work CONCRETIZED PERFORMANCE
The information with regard to the timing when the third artistic performance entitled "Concretized Performance" begins and ends is the only information and action that represents the driving force of the artistic project, giving its figure and shape, interpreting, characterizing and actualizing the artistic work. We do this intentionally, since we want to create a fictitious performance in which the aesthetic performance methods, criteria, classifications, elements, characteristics, contexts and concept will be partially present, or absent, with extremely minimized elements. The marginalization of the aforementioned performance values is derived from the author's urge and choice to have their presence reduced to a minimum in the constitution of this artistic product, and as such a created statement to refer and exist as an artistic work that exploits the theme of nothingness as a form.
